Line of Duty aka LOD

 

One of the most important documents prepared by the military is the Line of Duty. When negative, the findings of an LOD can stand between you and the military benefits a service members loved ones receive. Be certain to ask your Casuality Assistance Officer for this information and/or submit a FOIA request if necessary. The findings in a LOD can feel almost impossible to change, but with evidence that the LOD is incorrect it can be accomplished with diligence and determination.
